About Me
Hi, my name is Rhodora, but you can call me Dora. I have been teaching for over 15 years, working with young learners in different international school settings. I am excited to return to Myanmar and be part of the MISY Mandalay team. I look forward to working closely with the community and supporting the children’s growth and development.
Area of Special Interest
I am interested in STEAM and phonics. These areas support how young children learn through exploration and language, often leading to those small “wow” moments in learning.
Education
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Development Communication and a Certificate in Professional Teaching. I also have a Master TESOL Certificate, and I am currently completing a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration.
Experience
I am an experienced educator with a diverse background in early years and primary
education, having worked as an ESL Teacher, Year 1/2 Teacher, IB PYP Grade 1
Teacher, Montessori Preschool Teacher, and EY PYP Homeroom Teacher. Throughout my career, I have taught in the Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar, and Uzbekistan, where I have gained valuable experience working in multicultural and international school settings.
