I am an experienced educator and school leader with nearly 20 years in teaching and senior leadership roles, including Headmaster, Deputy Head, Head of Science, and Deputy Head (Whole School – English Section). A qualified Biology, Chemistry, and Physics teacher, specialising in Biology at AS and A Level. I bring 10 years of international experience across diverse educational contexts, including Thailand and Mongolia, with a strong track record in curriculum leadership, staff development, and whole-school improvement.
Area of special interest
I am a strong advocate for outdoor education, environmental philosophy, and experiential learning as drivers of student wellbeing, resilience, and personal growth. I am committed to science innovation and student development through structured challenge-based programmes, including the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and the William Pike Challenge. In addition I am passionate about fostering environmental stewardship, leadership, and critical thinking by connecting scientific learning with real-world exploration and purposeful outdoor pursuits.
