World Scholar's Cup 2024

MISY Mandalay scholars returned with pride and success as they brought home 27 golds and 42 silver medals from the recently concluded Annual World Scholar’s Cup, Yangon Round, held at BSY International School in Yangon on May 18–19, 2024. Armed with courage and determination after tireless preparation and training, the 18 scholars, led by a team of three senior students and 15 juniors, competed and incredibly proved their talents and skills in Team Debates, Collaborative Writing, the Scholar’s Challenge and the famous Scholar’s Bowl. “I really enjoyed the events and definitely will work harder and join the next succeeding scholar’s cup until I reach the top,” says Faye, a Year 6 student from the Junior Division. We thank and salute the parents, coaches, staff and admin for supporting our children in this wonderful journey. This is just the beginning, as we will continue our preparation for the next leg of the competition in September; the Global Round!
