About Me

I have over ten years of teaching experience spanning a diverse range of educational levels, from primary school up to university. I hold a degree in Philosophy from the Philippines, a discipline that deeply informs my pedagogy. Before venturing into international education, I taught at the university level, where I delivered courses across the Social Sciences, including Philosophy, Psychology, and Political Science.

MISY (Mandalay Campus) marks my third international school community. Here, I serve as the Pioneer Teacher for the Psychology program, having successfully introduced and established the curriculum for our IGCSE and A-Level students. In addition to leading the Psychology department, I teach IGCSE Global Perspectives, Key Stage 3 Humanities, and Key Stage 3 Music.

Music & Community Engagement

• Beyond the classroom, I am incredibly passionate about music. I play the piano and guitar, and I regularly lead choral groups, organize school concerts, and direct major school events. My engagement extends into the wider music community, where I conduct professional workshops and seminars for music community leaders.

• I am a keen sports enthusiast with a particular passion for badminton, always eager to support or participate in school athletic activities.

• I am highly tech-savvy and enjoy finding innovative ways to integrate technology into educational spaces, school events, and administrative workflows.

• I am an avid reader with a deep appreciation for literature focused on philosophy, resilience, and personal growth. Among my favorites are the timeless and inspirational works of Og Mandino (such as The Greatest Salesman in the World) and Paulo Coelho (such as The Alchemist).

Travel & Exploration

• For personal leisure, I am an avid motorbike traveler. I love hitting the open road on two wheels and exploring wherever the journey takes me.
